Photos from internet to Nookcolor Wallpaper
I want to use some of my photos as wall paper on my NookColor. So, I went to to my Flickr page, found the photos I wanted and downloaded them. The are in my download folder as they should be. I tap on the photo and it comes up fine. Then I tap on the photo again and options come up at the bottom for cropping, rotating, wallpaper, etc. Nice. Except none of the buttons do anything at all. I cannot crop, rotate, nor add the photo anywhere that I can find where I can use it as wall paper.
What am I doing wrong here? |

Try putting the photos in your Wallpaper folder (My Files / Wallpapers). You need a computer to move the files.

What you're trying to do should work. Are you accessing the photo from "Gallery". I just selected a photo and cropped it. I was given an option to Save or Discard. The crop photo was saved. Then I selected Wallpaper.

I've had this problem too which I decided was user error. I can't recall how I fixed it. Maybe I wasn't tapping the buttons hard enough. I have found that it is much easier to prepare the photos how I want them on my computer before I transfer them to the NC. Also it seems easier to set the wallpaper if you hold your finger on the home screen and select the Set Wallpaper option from the pop-up menu rather than doing it from within the Gallery app.
