Just REading for Pleasure
Hello and Merry Christmas,

I just recently joined this forum hoping to learn about more great books to read (mystery, scifi, and adventure). As I was exploring the website I saw a group with the goal to read 100 books in 2011. WOW!!! I started reading for pleasure in Feb 2010 and my goal was to read one book a month. I feel like a slacker (lol). I look forward to exploring new books and authors in 2011.

Hi 7th Trump. I'm new here too. 100 books in a year is VERY ambitious. It works out to one completed book per 3 1/2 days or so. I'm a big reader and I don't think I'd attempt that. Unless you're only reading short books? Good luck!

You guys should join up in the challenge. It is strictly for personal growth, and there is no shame for not reaching the full 100. But it will be fun to challenge ourselves.

I read about 50 this year, I estimate. It is the most ever for me. 100 will be pushing!

Click "community" on the blue ribbon above, then "social groups" to get to the club section.

How can you have 1 book done when 2011 has not yet started. The only valid books are books that you start and end in 2011.
