LOL And I might know who bought it! Looks very interesting and I'm looking forward to reading it - but I have a very long reading list. It's on my "100 in 2011" challenge queue, which is a work in progress, but the length of the book and the genre will probably ensure it gets read during the 1st quarter. Assuming I can stay away from MobileRead long enough to get some reading done.

Come to think of it, all of my purchases yesterday can be traced back to this forum. I'm so glad this place exists for so many reasons.

Yeah, clearly the biggest issue for indies like me will (still) be getting noticed amidst the Big Booksellers and bestseller list advertisements... we might not get much immediate love from the big after-holiday rush.

But hopefully, when people are done with the NYT list and are still looking for something to read, they may start checking out the indies that are hovering just outside of the big commercial bulls-eyes, promoted by the independent critics and editors, waiting to be noticed and snatched up.

Yes, y'all, that's a hint!

Saw an increase, oddly enough though it was on the Kobo, closely followed by the Nook and the Kindle lagged far behind. My guess a lot of Nooks and Kobo style readers are out there at the moment.
