More newbie Q's!

As I mentioned in another thread, I'm waiting for my nook to be smuggled back to Canada mid-January. Could the time be passing any slower?!?

I would like to download a few books to my BN library so that I can browse them in the interim. I'm in Canada but have done the whole US billing and shipping addy thing so I should be able to download the books. My question is once downloaded, will BN be able to tell that my nook is in Canada and my purchased ebooks will get stuck in my BN library in internet purgatory?

TIA

Nope, they should download on your Nook no problem. Just make sure to hit the 'Check for new B&N content' in your B&N Library, otherwise they may not show up.

That stinks that you have to wait. But at least you will have a nice library set up before you get it. And if you want to edit any metadata with Calibre (a free program, I always love to put in the series name and number), you have lots of time.

Congrats on your NOOK!

You can download e-books from your B&N library anywhere in the world you can get a Wi-Fi connection. The limitation is strictly on buying additional e-books.

Thanks you two! I'm so excited to get my nook, I am building quite a nice library already. Can you guess how much I'm NOT going to get done the month of January?! lol
