Question for developers
Hi,
A question for the developers: Can Calibre convert a set of separate svg files (either embedded in separate html files or as separate svg files) into an image based pdf. If so, what would be the best format to present the set of svg files in. If they were numbered sequentially and inside a zip, would that help? Also, can a single specific file based calibre plugin actually generate two types of books from the same input source. For example, could one plugin generate svg images of the pages as one input and an html and image directory as a second input. Any hints on the best way to deal with these situations to make it easy for Calibre to convert and process them would be helpful. Thanks, KevinH |

1) Sure, for svg embedded in html, though you may have to go the html->mobi->pdf route or edit the pdf output plugin to use the SVGRasyerizer transform if it doesn't work out of the box
2) No |

Thanks for that info.
One further question suppose there was a book file extension '.zpt' could I register two different file plugins both to handle the .zpt input file and have them both run on input or would the first one that is successful terminate the input file plugin process before the second one had a chance to run? Thanks, KevinH |

Only one plugin per input file type.
