I'm new to the Sony ereader and this forum and I hope some one can help me. When I plug it in it starts charging automatically. Then it says USB connected Charging complete. I cannot transfer books in this state. So I unplug the USB and it goes to HOME. I open the Reader Library and plug in again to transfer a book and immediately it starts charginging and around we go again.
I transferred books successfully before but not now. I must be doing something wrong or differently now. Oh yes, I did reset, still no joy. HELP PLEASE! Last edited by snarlaiou; 12-21-2010 at 12:26 AM. Reason: typo |

What happens when you try to transfer books while the reader is charging?
How are you transferring the books (Calibre, Sony Library, Windows Explorer)? |

Thanks for replying! I read some other questions and answers on the forum and figured out that the Sony Library opening automatically was causing the problem. I stopped that from happening and started using ADE and everything works now.
