Copy conversion settings

Is it possible to copy conversion settings from one book to another, rather than 'by hand', to get ALL the settings I've used requires several jumps back and forth.

A 'copy to defaults' would (also) be handy, any chance of that ever being implemented. (to complement the restore to defaults option)

why dont you just set the defaults once. Then they will be used for each new conversion.

I was thinking of keeping a few different books (from different vendors) which require different settings, which I could then 'copy settings to default' (or new individual book) and then as you say use for new conversions. When needed, just be able to simply copy whichever set which would match best.
If that makes sense.

sure, I'm not going to add support for that to the GUI. But you can achieve it yourself by managing the conversion subfolder in the calibre config directory. That's where all conversion defaults are stored. Just have multiple copies of that folder and rename the need copy to conversion each time before launching calibre.
