Great Bag for a DX (and IPad and netbook)

http://www.amazon.com/Pacsafe-MetroS...9&sr=8-1-fkmr1

I just bought a Pacsafe Metro 300. I had the Metro 200 but it was a little bit too small for the DX in a cover although it was perfect for a K1, K2, or K3. It arrived today and I am thrilled.

The main compartment has a seperate padded compartment for a 15 inch laptop which fits the DXG beautifully. I actually think I could fit my netbook and DXG in the pocket. It has two pockets for cords and mice and the like. I am planning on using one for the various chargers that we all end up carrying. There is plenty of extra space between the pockets and the padded area.

The smaller front compartment has pocket that can easily fit papers that you want to slip in and out, think boarding passes or a pad of paper even. There is a zippered area that has a pocket for a cell phone and a wallet plus additional space for whatever else you want to toss in. There is a flap that covers these areas.

The other nice thing about the Pacsafe bags are that they have a bunch of easy to use anti-theft measures. All of the zippers can be clipped together so that they cannot be easily opened without your noticing. The thief has to unclip the pulls and then open them. There is a steel mesh that is sewn in making it difficult for the bag to be slashed open. The shoulder straps have steel wires that make it difficult for the shoulder strap to be cut off.

It is not a cheap bag but it is nice looking, carries a lot, difficult to steal from, and light weight.

Thank you for the mini-review of this bag. Looks very nice and as if it is well-built. I also like the fact that the manufacturer did take into account trying to thwart the "snatch or slash and grab" thieves that we are plagued with.

It looks great, that bag; especially when one is travelling.
