pocketbook IQ question

I am looking at buying the PBIQ after my coworker just got his, looks really nice.

Is there a way though to edit the home page? I like the last three books listing, but thebook store listing at the bottom is not really wanted. i would rather have it show my library so i can easily scroll through it...

My only other question is that my friend said that it cant play some games not enough horse power...I could get the nook color but for my first device I am weary of paying 250 cause in 1-2 years there be so much change in the devices...

It is possible to change the homepage by installing LauncherPro, Open Home, or (I think) vLauncher. Those allow you to edit what your home screen looks like. There's a few threads on this topic.

also, download a startup manager to disable the default homescreen widget otherwise it still loads.

I couldn't get vLauncher (from SlideMe) to install. The APK won't parse?
Anybody report success?
I've run into quite a few "can't parse" failure and I'm *assuming* it means they are intended for a newer version of Android.

I'm reasonably happy with OpenHome2,btw.

Indeed. Every time I had that parse error, it is because the version of the app was intended for 2.1 or 2.2 so youèd be correct.

Sorry, I haven't tried any of them yet. So I don't have any answers for you.
