showing the list of books after a search

I couldn't find a way to make calibre display the original list after a search. Clicking on the books icon doesn't do the job.I have to quit the program and start again to see the whole list again. This is annoying!Please help!

Sounds like you just want to clear the search? You can either manually delete the search that you typed in, or click on the gray arrow button with a cross inside it between the "Go" button and where it says "Saved Searches" in the toolbar.
