New Oberon cover for my Nook Color

Just received my new cover and I love it. Thought I would share.

This is actually my number two. I have the Sky Dragon in red for my Nook Classic. I'm afraid I'm hooked.

I'd get one, only I don't like the corner strap system Oberon uses to secure the device. I much prefer the 3-point clip system B&N uses for its covers. I'll probably get the Industriell Cover.

I'm with you. I have an M-Edge cover for my Sony 900 and it has the straps. I was shocked that B&N offers covers with the clips for a reasonable price. I have the Writer's Cover.

The Oberon covers are lovely though! They look impressive.

I got mine yesterday (the Sky Dragon in red). Absolutely beautiful and my NC looks so classy in it!

Oberon covers are awesome. I have two, Red Dragon for my K1 and Purple Sun for my DXG. They feel wonderful and last forever.

You can call and ask them to remove the wool pad that is included on the cover if you don't want it. I know folks who are allergic and others just don't like the feel of it.

Just got my Oberon NC cover this week. It's gorgeous!

I chose the Green Paisley design. Their product is certainly high quality for the price, and their customer service is very good. I also have an Oberon Kindle2 cover which I use with my Sony 950, which is the Red Hummingbird design. I attached photos of both covers if someone wants another example to view.

ProfCrash, good tip on the wool pad. I find it collects cat hair easily.

The straps are placed such that they don't impede any of the side-buttons or the headphones plug. The one thing I was worried about was that the cover wouldn't fold back flatly enough. It is fine, and I am happy. The green paisley cover which is an all-over pattern seems to be more flexible than my red one which has the solid leather at the spine where it bends back.

Very pretty.

My husband rolled his eyes when he heared me comment that I might buy a K3 so that I can get a new Oberon. They are working on sleeves and I think I would prefer a sleeve to a cover.

I didn't know they were working on sleeves. That's nice to know. My K3 is in the Amazon non-lighted cover, and I think it's feeling unloved without an Oberon cover too.

The Sleeves were suppose to have been released in October but they are having a problem with the closure. They are going to return to working on them after Christmas.
