PRS-650 another dictionary ?

It is possible to add/replace dictionary in PRS-650 with lets say English-Polish doctionary without flashing firmware ?

It will be great help for me as i'm tryng to read books in english so any help will be appreciated.

No.
You need to install an alternate Firmware in order to do so. This is nothing Sony provides through customization.

I'm afraid to "brick" my brand new 650 and imo don't know if this is worth it...

Hi Entu,

the risk of bricking it, is relatively small.
Check here and here if there are features you would like. (use google translate or babelfish if needed)

But even with a "russified" reader there are AFAIK no replacement dictionaries.
Papi a MR member is working on the basics.

Unfortunately, I gave up, since I couldn't even manage to access the files. Hopefully one of the alternative firmware maker will have interest in adding this functionality, I think it's a popular request for basically all non native English speaking owners, but maybe it's not easy to do.

i will not risk to flash then as dictionary its only feature i wish to have as i managed to install polish fonts into ePub easly.
