Duplicate definitions in dictionary
Has anyone noticed that when searching for words in the dictionary sometimes it shows the definition twice or even muktiple times. Not a big deal but I hope they fix this bug.
Also it would be nice if you could type words you want to search like in the original nook. I find very limiting that you can only look up words that appear on the ebook you are reading, not to mention the dictionary cannot be used in magazines or .pdf files. Hopefully one of the extras will be a standalone dictionary and dictionaries in other languages. Also is there a way where you can let B&N about issues like this so they can fix it? |

I haven't noticed duplicated dictionary definitions yet, and I do use the dictionary frequently. It is annoying that it does not work in all types of media, especially PDF files.
You can search on any word you want by using the "Search" icon on the quick-nav bar. Type the word in the search box. If it doesn't find it on the ereader, then it will give you two options: Google search or Wikipedia search. |
