The Scream - a short story (Psychological Horror, FREE)

Well, I was inspired by other writers on these boards who have published their works on Smashwords, and I decided to give it a try. I have uploaded my first Smashwords story, "The Scream", a little experiment of horror fiction.

"A man on simple walk at night finds himself in the middle of a nightmare. What is the secret of the bridge and the terrifying scream which haunts him? "

Just a quick update- I updated the version on Smashwords, to correct some formatting issues. If your version looked off, please redownload.

I liked this one.

It's a bit more like prose-art to me than a story per se. I wonder if I've just coined a term there.

It's a bit like a poem that has been created as prose - all atmosphere, imagery and effect.

I liked it though.
