clipping text on iPad.

Is it normal for the text to clip on the ipad? My decenders are cut off on the bottom of the page and appear at the top of the next page.
Is there a way to counter this in calibre?

I suspect that the reason is that others are not seeing this behavior so do not know what to suggest. I certainly do not get it on my iPad with iBooks as the reader software.

I would expect it therefore to be something specific to the file(s) you are trying to read. To get any further you probably need to raise a ticket and provide a sample file that exhibits this behavior.

I have seen this sort of behavior in Stanza, and there by slightly adjusting the font size was able to get the pages to display correctly. It was also possible to tell Stanza to ignore the display styles from the book to fix the issue which also suggests it was something in the specific book exhibiting the issue.

I tried clearing the formatting from my openoffice document and it worked.
Thanks.
