number of pages/locations/words?

Hi,

I'd like to be able to sort my books by number of 'pages'. Now I now, due to the nature of ebooks, pages don't really exist. But isn't it possible to show the number of locations for a specific ebook format?

Sometimes I just want to pick a short book - but going by file size alone isn't always the best way....

any thoughts?

Thanks!

Hi
There is "Formats" section in the Tag Browser: EPUB;PDF...
That what you mean?

A book does not need to be Short if it has "Short Stories"

I created an "Anthologies-themed","Short-Stories" tags
If you ony have a singele format saved per book, yo can sort on the Size column (does not work as well if multiple formats or lots of graphics)

as you say - the current size colomn can be misleading, if you book has graphics etc in it. So is it not possible to create some type of custom column to show the size of the book in a different way.. such as number of words or page locations etc?

Thanks

There was talk about implementing a word count over in this thread, but I'm not sure how that would help you.
