menu doing a fade out

Hi,

I've had my k3 for about three weeks now, and noticed that the menu button is fading. Is it supposed to do this after so little time? Has anyone else had the problem? I just don't want all my keys to go the same direction.

Hi I've read about this problem a number of times and I think there were a batch of kindles which have had a problem with characters fading or rubbing off on the keys. The best thing to do is to contact Amazon and see about getting a replacement - they will classify it as being faulty.

I have a k3 replacement and the alt and I keys are rubbing out. I'm going to keep it and maybe get a replacement when more keys get rubbed out or some other problems develop.

Whew! Well, I'm glad I'm not the only one... I just hope it doesn't go into the rest of the keys, but thanx, I'll check with them. I dunno if I want them callingme, but I saw an email addy in the manual. Thanx guys!
