Hi Guys, I am a IPHone, IPAD application developer. here I am exploring .PDF to .EPUB.

Any body has Idea why .180 page PDF becomes 300 pages .epub after converting using caliber.

I think that the basic principle behind an epub is text reflow, so the number of pages really depends on the display area and the font size.
Haven't really done any dev work around this so not sure though.

Have you browsed through the PDF & epub forums, here? See links on the main forum page under Formats....

Not many converts here, though, for the pdf to epub conversions - Kovid on Calibre mentions the difficulty of conversion to satisfactorily cope with images in PDF - you can check that issue directly in the Calibre Manual PDF conversion....
