Looking for a case for the 650

I need a few specific things:

1. It has to open like a book does.
2. It has to be zippable, so stuff floating around in my bag doesn't get in.
3. There needs to be room for a light.
4. It needs to be made for the reader and attach using elastics, not velcro.
5. It needs to weigh very little.

Ideally it would be water resistant (for rain). I do not care if I can access ports. I would prefer something that is not black so it shows up in my bags.

Some of the m-edge stuff looks perfect, but it's not being made for the 650. I cannot find something that opens like a book but zips shut on 3 sides on etsy, though I haven't tried etsy alchemy. The Sony case is a slip in case.

I am in Canada, so things have to ship here.

The Sony case, as I mentioned, is a slipcase, or almost -- it only unzips on 2 sides, not 3 -- and is not at all what I need. It also has no place for a light.

The Case Logic uses straps to hold the reader in and fully unzips so that you can fold the case back when reading without having the reader fall out. There's no space for a reading light, but I'm not aware of any zipper case that has that.

Unfortunately, Case Logic does not ship to Canada.

The m-edge jackets (which are not made for this version Sony) do have zippable cases with lights, and I find it surprising that no one else makes that.

You might want to look at the BooKArmor case from OmniScience. I had one for my prs-505 and have one for the PRS-950 coming in the mail to me. Very lightweight, super strong, and offers incredible device and screen protection!

You might be best off getting a cover and then something that acts like a sliptcase that has room for the 650 with cover and the light.

The BookArmor case requires me to stick something to the back of the reader, and isn't set up for a light. I do not want multiple cases for one item.

I think I will try etsy alchemy, then, since no one makes what I am looking for.

I bet M-Edge will start offering cases for the 650 soon. The aftermarket just takes a little while to catch up. I've had my 650 for less than two weeks and there are twice as many cases available today as there were when I got it.
