i just got myself a pocket reader from sony prs350 as i have no room left in the house to stack paperbooks...
i happen to read only english fiction, what a surprise to see the sony ebook store is country based i can only get books from the french store which is basically a list of books, in french, with no classification, no way to browse and the search feature is limited to "by author" and "by title"
and since i don't have a US/canada credit card i'm not allowed to order from the us reader store, woooaaaaa
so not what i am looking for

so here am i on the web looking for ways to find books in english, legally, and easily...
that's how i found this forum, that looks like a nice place to find information

Definitely take a look at Kobobooks for current books. The selection is somewhat limited for us "rest of the world" folks (i.e. non-US, Canada or Australia) but some of their prices are better than the US Sony store - and they send out coupons good for 10 or 20% off if you sign up to receive their newsletter.

Yup, Fabienne. The Sony Store is out of bounds to us here in France. They used to re-direct to the stores at Waterstones and Barnes & Noble, but they, too, chose to lock us out last month. No big deal. There are many, many alternatives. Best wishes. Neil
