Yes, you can. Amazon-purchased books may be viewed in the Kindle app and Borders books in the Kobo app.

Borders actually has their own app - it's an older version of the Kobo app, with Borders branding. (It's based on whatever the last version before the "add your own files via iTunes" support was added to Kobo, IIRC.)

I'm reading George Bush's book on my Ipad bought from Amazon...(Kindle App)..It has a bunch of features embedded with the Ebook,such as, pictures & video...Pretty cool concept..(in HD)
