Book Covers Not being sent [nook]

All of a sudden (since the last update) book covers are not being sent to my nook, although they appear fine in calibre and in my calibre folder. When I check the folder on my nook, only the epub or PDF file is shown - no book covers.

If I check in calibre on the device icon, the book covers do show up, but not on the device nor in the my documents folder.

Anyone else having this issue? Suggestions for resolution?

Are you saying that the book covers are not being sent to the nook at all, i.e. after a send to device you look in the folder and dont see the cover files? The cover files will be named the same as the book file, except with a .jpg extension.

Yes. exactly what you said. There are no book covers being sent to the nook at all. When I connect the nook via usb and check the folder for the book, only the book file is present no jpegs for the covers for any books loaded since the latest update.

Prior to that it worked flawlessly.

nothing that should affect tah has changed as far as I know. Run calibre from a command prompt as

calibre-debug -g

and post any output you see when sending books to the nook.

That was just for news - but those covers aren't coming across either.

I will try an epub book and send that data also.

you have an outdated version of usbms\driver.py (probably from a previous debug attempt). Uninstall. delete c:\program files\calibre2 and re-install.

I realize this is an older post, but it's indicative of problem I'm currently having (with 5 books only). Thought I might try recommended steps as solution, but I'm running on a Mac and am unsure how it translates from the Windows instructions given. Can you help? Thanks.
