Title: The Teeth Of The Tiger by Tom Clancy.

Borders is offering this book for a limited time (very limited, if their previous freebies are any indication). I can't download it (presumably because I don't live in the U.S.), so have no way of checking it out; my apologies if it's not as advertised.

Description: The old rules no longer apply - anybody with a spare AK47 or a knowledge of kitchen chemistry can become a player. In a nondescript office building in suburban Maryland, 'The Campus', set up with the knowledge of President John Patrick Ryan, identifies and locates terrorist threats - then deals with them, in whatever manner is necessary. It's an organization always on the lookout for new recruits - men like Jack Ryan Jr, the President's son. Filled with the exceptional realism and cutting-edge authenticity that are his hallmarks, this is Clancy at his best - and there is none better.

Yeah, good luck with this one. It's been "free" for weeks (since they opened the store) and was at first linked to a public domain book of the same title (now properly to the Clancy hardcover). It hasn't let me put it into my library since it appeared (along with three others I tried). Trying to email them gets braindead answers from a script (no one there apparently can read or escalate it to someone that actually has used their ebook system, just brainless CS reps with cut and paste ability).
