lost music files

I know this is not the right forum but I have looked on itunes help and it really does not help me. I loaded up some musical cds on to itunes yesterday and since then have been trying to synch them on to my ipad . It does not seem to do it . I see the albums on my itunes account but not on my pad . Also I seem to have deleted the rest of my music from the Ipad when it was synching once .

Please can someone explain in simple english how to do it please.

You select the iPad in the left column of iTunes, then press the Music pane at the top, and then select what music you want synced.
