Yo from Illinois
Hi everybody -
I live outside of Chicago, Illinois and I recently bought a nook 3G. I previously read my books on my Palm, so this is such a great improvement! For the past several years, I have been buying .pdf books to read on my Palm, and that's why I decided to go with the nook -- it's ability to read other formats. I'm currently in the process of converting all of my books (over 500, over 1000 .......) 'cuz although nook does read .pdf, it sometimes gets garbled. Much easier to convert to .epub. I'm over 50, and a wannabe writer. I'm close to it, but life gets in the way so I haven't done my third edit yet <sigh>. I make my kids call me the IT goddess because only my oldest knows more about computers than I do. I also make them kneel on the floor in obeisance. Aside from reading, oh, and sewing, and knitting, and going to school, computers are my favorite thing to do. Nice talking to y'all Woolythought .........aka Patti |
