New 950....

I wish Sony would release a firmware for my 900 to give me a webkit...i hate the fact that i cant browse wikiepedia or my calibre collection on my local network....oh well guess if i wanted friware updates i should have bought the kindle...i still love my sony though.

CAN YOU CHECK OUT BOOKS FROM THE LIBRARY WITH YOUR 900? I KNOW THAT IT IS WIRELESS BUT CAN YOU CATUALLY ACCESS YOUR LOCAL LIBRARY WIRELESSLY?

No...i dont see how, you cannot enter a website or go anywhere that is not within the Sony Elibrary website...

Last time i looked there was nothing anyone could do short of someone rooting the 900 to get more access...

So....you have to hook up your 950 to your computer to check out books from the library?

That's the way the nook works. Even though I'm able to browse the net on my nook, I still have to connect it to the computer to load books I borrow from the library.
