I was checking my Smashwords sales and payments history and I noticed that B&N in some cases took a 67% cut instead of 50%. Has this happened to anyone else?

I'm surprised most retailers don't take 90% honestly. The fact that we even get 50% on ebooks amazes me. But then again, 67% from B&N isn't all that bad. I've seen Amazon take 80% or more.

There cut is supposed to be 50% according to the agreement. I'm not sure why they took a larger cut.

Simon, I just checked mine and B&N's cut is 50% on all of them. Is this perhaps happening on your 99 cent books? There might be a minimum amount B&N takes as cut.

That's probably part of their "we have a right to modify our agreement at any time, your continued use of our service constitutes your acceptance of our new terms of service."
