new software for Kindle DX for PDF

Hi all

Does anyone know if there is a new firmware update scheduled for the kindle DX in order to allow pdf highlighting and annotations like Kindle 3 software does.

I bought the DX for studying technical books (mainly in PDF) but the pdf support is awful.

No one here would know as much as you could find out by calling or emailing kindle support and asking them directly.

On this page you can click on 'contact us', choose the phone option, sign into your account, enter your phone number and they'll call back almost immediately.

You can also choose to just email them direct.

I'm quietly-confident that, in the near future, Amazon will provide an update for the DXG (and maybe older DX's) to include most of the current k3 pdf features. In the meantime, I'm just loving the overall e-book experience on my DXG!
