Engraving
Has anyone ever had their reader engraved? I have been contemplating with getting a reader with engravement but I'm worried that it would be a problem if I decided to sell it.

Dont get anything personal on it. Instead get a phrase like:
"Caution content may inform" |

laser engraving is probably safe. i wouldn't let anyone near my reader with a drill bit.

well. for those who already have their readers and want after-purchase engraving there are quite a few places out there that will do various laser engraving, from text to full pictures. could get some pretty slick stuff (on the back).

How would that work on the PRS-600, the back's covered in rubber (or a very soft plastic)?

Engraving can make it difficult to re-sell; I really wouldn't bother.

a laser engraver would burn right through that to the metal underneath.

They may engrave the front instead of the back. I believe this was an option on the 505's.
