SQL statement not working
I hope my thread is right here?
![]() Until version 5.40 I could send a query to show me which authors do not have a comma in the string like "Ludlum, Robert" and is sorted as column author_sort shows them. The query string used is: " not author = "," " (1) Also " not authors = "," " Where as " authors = "," " shows them when including a comma. The request ends with an empty list. No error message appears. Since version 5.41 the query doesn't work anymore. Does anybody know, why it doesn' work? Configuration: Latest version of Calibre 64 with 24.000 titles on Windows 10-Notebook Panasonic FZ-55, 64 GB RAM + 2 TB m.2. Thank you for reading and constructive help. Calibre 5.42 does not use punctuation in searches by default. See Searching broken in V5.42? for some help on this and Proposed change to library search for a possible future change.
