Hello. 'nother n00b, here
Post-X-mas sales convinced me to finally purchase a reader. Wanted one for a while, now. I've become guilty over the myriad dead trees in my house. This should help. Lusted after the iLiad. But, as much I really want a read/write combination tool, I can't afford one. So I'm now the frustrated/determined/proud owner of a new silver PRS-505.
I'm a Mac user (except at work, of course). I've already acquired and employed calibre on downloads from Project Gutenberg and Baen's free library (.txt & .html). Spent balance of today arguing with Adobe DRM. Still haven't gotten my purchase onto the 505, but at least I can read it on my MacBook. I'll get it eventually. Just need to learn some more . . . |

Hi glassbell and welcome to the Forum. I've had a 505 for close to a year now and love it. In fact, I'm on vacation at the moment and the 505 is a joy. All those books taking up virtually no space!
