help with cbz reading order
when I upload a cbz with folder for each chapter, the folders that contain a "dot" as in 1.5, are shown before the main chapter. In my case I have the chapters named "ch.-1 ch.-2" etc, the problem is that I have extras between chapters and they are "ch.-26 ch.-26.5" in this case the extra (26.5) is shown before the main chapter (26), what kind of naming convection should I use order to make it display in the correct order? or what way could I fix this?
this only happen when opening in koreader (and calibre), not in the cbz reader that I have on my pc |

Does it help if you choose sort by "name (natural sorting)"? That's in the top left menu.

no, still the same, in case there's some confusion, I'm referring to folders INSIDE a cbz file (like a zip file)
I'm fixing this by puting a ".4" before the main chapter (making it 26.4 -> main chapter and 26.5 the extra chapter) to force a correct reading order edit: someone on other forum told me that the naming convention should be uniform in order for koreader to be able to be read it correctly so if there is a folder with a dot, all other folders should accomodate to that, in my case being that the names where 24, 25, 26, 26.005, the folders should be renamed to 24.000 25.000, 26.000, 26.005, and that worked great. On a similar note it can sometime be necessary to use 001, 002, 010, etc. in order for 100 to end up at the end instead of at the beginning.

Just to be clear, I thought the standard way of keeping CBZ files was one CBZ per chapter. So, you'd have:
- chapter-01.cbz - chapter-02.cbz - chapter-02.5.cbz And that would naturally work. I've never seen CBZ files with subfolders in the wild. |

well, when you download manga, you download chapters, each chapter in it's own folder, so when creating a cbz, you just put all folders inside the cbz to have all chapters in one file, no need to have multiple files, and that file with folders can be used everywhere without problem, hell, this is the correct way of creating epubs or mobi files, otherwise you won't have a TOC
