Irssi or IRC Kindlet
What are the limitations of the terminal emulator for the Kindle? Why does IRSSI start jamming lines of text together when it can go no further? We should work on a solution for this, the K3 is a perfect IRC device.

I havent actually tried, but from experience irssi does not deal very well with terminal's which dont report column count where it expects them to be, which makes it a bit iffy with some windows systems and such (i,e where you might resize it).
That said, I'd have a go at trying to build weechat, I've found it rather robust in the past, it's also a whole lot easier to configure for use on different devices - as well as just being a whole lot better than irssi on the whole. |
