And it works with 3.0.2! Nice work to all involved.

Omg! Thank god, my Kindle 3 shipped out a few days ago, the screensaver was pretty much the last thing I was worried about.

OK, first off - thanks NiLuJe! I'm sure a lot of hard work went into the 3.x break.
Now, if someone could help me a bit What does the jailbreak do for the K3? Is that just to be able to install the font/ss hack? |

Does this mean I can add a different Korean font?

@RonF: Yes, just that. It enables you to install custom updates. (right now, the screensavers hack, and usbnetwork)
@HelenaJole: Not yet, I'm working on it. It's a bit more intrusive than before for proper international & browser support. |

We do not need this thread. All it was created for was to point to another thread. Please mods, lets get this thread deleted.

No need to delete, but I am closing it, since the other thread is about the topic.

Before you close, note that this is pointing to a thread in the Kindle Developer's Forum which some folks might tend to overlook.
Please let it be. |

So should we start threads that just link to other threads so we can make sure others see the threads we link to? That's just nonsense and should not be allowed.

Your best bet would be to put this thread and maybe the whole Kindle forum on ignore. Last edited by daffy4u; 09-18-2010 at 11:33 PM. Reason: typo - "now" changed to "not" |

I for one am glad that this was here. I have not looked into the developers forum and would not have known about this if not for this thread here.
Considering the many duplicate threads on lighted covers, slow page turns, and many others in this forum, I don't see a major breakdown if this thread were allowed to point people to what many consider a major improvement for the K3. But, meh, I don't lose sleep over things like this |

Meh. Delete the thread if you wish. Its not immediately clear from the posts in the developer forum unless you read some preexisting threads that the K3 has been hacked so I thought it'd be helpful to inform people.
