Feature Request > unique subforum names
It may just be me, but I find it quite annoying that there are different sub-forums with matching names.
The particular annoyance that I encounter involves the "Plugins" sub-forums that exist in both the Calibre and the Sigil forums. Since I do the vast majority of my browsing of MR from the "New Posts" link and the table of posts only lists the sub-forum titles without listing their parents, I can't tell of a post to "Plugins" is about a Sigil plugin or a Calibre plugin without accessing the thread and looking at the breadcrumbs. If the sub-forums were renamed to "Calibre Plugins" and "Sigil Plugins" there wouldn't be an issue. |

I agree - it's something that has bothered me too for some time. I'd like to see how it works / looks with the new forum software and then make the changes if necessary.

If the new forum software could list the full path/breadcrumb name (e.g. "Calibre>Plugins", or similar) it would be a solution as well. This would automatically resolve the issue going forward without any manual supervision to review existing subforum names for conflicts every time a new subform was created |

I promised it so many times (...) that I am hesitant doing time estimates. On the positive side, been working again on preparing the migration ever since switching over to HTTPS. It'll also involve updating various server software components at the same time. I hope to finish as soon as possible.

I don't envy you .... Even going from vB3 to vB4 can be a pain , especially with skins and also with some of the loved plugins ...
