Sage user here. Recently my Sage spontaneously starts advancing pages very fast. Can’t be stopped by page buttons or screen touches. Pushing the rear sleep button stops it. Has done this through the last couple of firmware. Currently running the latest firmware. Any ideas how to fix?

If you remember an older firmware that didn't have the problem, you could roll back to the older version.

Is there any kind of bug with drop caps and kePub? It's a book by book basis but sometimes it doesn't look right.
I believe that it doesn't happen with ePub. |

OTOH, drop caps are the appendix of book formatting and almost impossible to do correctly over a wide variety of fonts and font sizes for ebooks. |

That could explain why sometimes they look totally different between Kobo and Kindle, for example, right?

Yes. I have an ePub with drop caps and they looked OK with the ePub, but not with KF8 because the CSS for the drop caps used line-height to raise the drop caps to line up with the first line. The same code fails on a Kindle because Kindles ignore line-height,

Is the "go to page" dialog broken for anyone else? If I do an in-book search, tap "page x of x", then tap the field to insert a number, the keyboard never comes up.

Pocket : web pages saved not on kobo libra H2O
This is the first time I've noticed that web pages saved by the Pocket application can be accessed on the Android application on the phone, on the application accessible by web browser on Windows, without this being possible on the Kobo Libra H2O.
Do you have an idea to solve this problem? Thanks Kobo Libra H2O 4.34.20097: Apps: Pocket File types: Web sites Links Steps to reproduce: Current result: I can read them in Pocket on android and windows, but nothing with Kobo Libra H2O (other websites are OK) |

The behavior of Pocket is still strange, even though it is a page without advertising, and the text without any particular presentation. Thanks for the hypothesis. |

POCKET APP IN KOBO
Quote:
Greetings "Hi There, Thanks for bringing this to our attention! It sounds like you’ve found an issue with how Pocket identifies the article content (text, images, videos) and displays it in Article View. We try very hard to capture the entire article correctly, but sometimes we have trouble. The Kobo is compatible with links that display in Pocket’s Article View. Links that are only available in Web View cannot be synced to the Kobo. I was able to reproduce the issue you’ve found with sri-aurobindo.co.in, and have filed a bug report so we can try and get it fixed for you. Thanks for taking the time to send us this report. If you find any other article issues, please feel free to send them our way. Have a nice day! Pocket Support" |
