We too do the camp food well when got money for these occasions. We also have a SUV with four wheel drive. She can go off road if need be. Mountain Tough. So we are never snowed in.

Hmmm. I'll have to check those product numbers, because I get 9 lives. (I think.) Only one of the listed types is non-Pate (Muffy hates pate) but I'll check about the one that isn't.

Nope only Fancy Feast. I called mom because they feed their cat that brand so thanks for mentioning it.

Yesterday the temperature hit 50°, there was just a hint of a breeze, and not a cloud in the sky. I was really looking forward to doing some reading and having a mug of tea on the back deck. While I was dressing ... the phone rang. Spent the day on the road, got home for a brief stay, then spent most of the evening on the road. Got home just after midnight.

Today the highs were in the low 30s, it was windy, and the sky was heavily overcast. Tonight we're due for freezing rain followed by snow.

I really hate that phone.

Snow to begin tonight .... record breaking low temps Sat (9 F) and Sun (0) nights ...

Memo to self: join the migrating bird flocks BEFORE the cold temps arrive

I have a 9 lives version that is one number away from something on the list. "Seafood and Turkey" rather than "Seafood Poultry". So we're okay here.

I dont think it would hurt the cat if you do have the recall 9lives. You just want to supplement the missing B1. If your cat eats dry too then it's not really a problem.

It was -2 here this morning. It's 2 now.

My flock leaves at 10:30 AM in the morning. 18 F and snow here. . .

Ouch. Wearing wool socks is dangerous. Ok so the socks may not be the dangerous part. It may have been the stepstool. I almost fell when coming down.
Still cold but all cookbooks physically organized.

I haven't bothered to check the temp the last day or two. Hasn't been above zero. Wind chill warnings out for the entire state, 35 to 40 below. It's been like 25 to 30 below zero in the mornings.

Wind's finally died down and we got to a high of zero today. Maybe we'll get above zero tomorrow.
