It really is perfect. Lobster, crab legs prepared 20 different ways, sushi, around 4 kinds of fish, oysters raw and cooked, all the shell fish, shark, dolphin, shrimp, and just about anything else found in the ocean.

I actually have considered that. For what I pay on monthly lawn maintenance I could pay for it in a few years. But, not sure if the homeowner assoc would give me a hassle.

I'm also looking into getting solar panels to bring down my electric bill a bit also. Since I pretty much use the most electric (A/C) when the sun is shining brightly.

*edit* I get no sound from this 5 minute vid of robot lawnmower. It's like watching grass not grow.

It looks like the sound isn't really necessary.

Now that's just hilarious the robot is all over the place So much for neat straight lines. If you got no borders to your neighbor you end up cutting his grass to.

I suppose it works similarly to the pool-cleaning robots, and yes, they are all over the place. My parents have one for their pool. It does end up covering most of the surface after a while.

The difference is you don't end up with lines in a pool. If I remember correctly cleaning a big pool is hard work so I totally get why someone would get a robot to to this job. As for cutting grass I prefer to do it myself but than again I don't have that much grass to cut. I do however wish I had an electric lawn mower.

My family had an electric lawn mower about 35 or so years ago. Someone borrowed it and mowed right over the cord. Not amusing.

LOL.

I did that when I was 13 or 14. We had a HUGE backyard and I had to mow the darn thing with an electric mower.

I had sound on that youtube...

I really don't like the tire marks all over the place. They look like there's been a wheelchair soccer match on that lawn... The only kind left fer me!

I have a multi purpose 20" corded electric lawnmower. It cuts grass with a rotating helical scisor and I can change heads on it to; a brush head to take care of leaves and pebbles in the driveway, a thatch removing head and a soil aerating head.

Well, after a while it crosses them over and over and they just disappear. I let it go for about 4 hours - that's more or less the charge it has - on one of my two lawns (the size of two tennis courts) The result is really nice. The grass adores it. No clippings to dispose, no maintenance, just plug it in for recharging. In the mean time I can sit in the shade watching it going around in its random walks while I sip intoxicating concoctions from a frozen glass. La dolce vita, my friends. If my wife is around I get chores to attend.
It costs less then one year of "professional" lawn mowing.

Une vrais patente! If you live in the best part of Canada and around the best part of the best part of Canada, which is Hochelaga, and now you know that I know what I am talking about, and if you were of Italian inclination either directly or by injection or whatever, you would just put clean and easy concrete all over the place and few Seven Dwarfs to match.

vive le Quebec! I was there during the Cross affair. May be you weren't even born yet. It does not matter. It is not only the best part of Canada. It might well be the best part of the whole thing. Entiere. Excepté pour la verglas. Et le mouches noires. Salud.
