Caya has this perfect little sad beagle look. She sits oh so politely, drapes her neck down so she looks like she is bowing, and looks up at us with her big brown eyes. She might get a little bit of veg and an occasional small piece of bacon or pepperoni.

It is a well known thing. When you start dieting, exercising etc., you loose weight fast, in the beginning. Then the process slows down, especially when there is not much left to loose or/and your body is used to the previous way of life and now it needs more time to adapt to the new/healthy living. No. She goes to aerobic classes for 8 months. Sometimes two classes in a row. Different aerobic classes. One might be high impact aerobic, another hips, bums and tums.
Taking into the account my present health conditions I would be dead within 15 minutes in one of the classes, let alone two one hour classes in a row. However, I don't feel any physical strain my leg muscles after running 1 mile.

What am I about? It is a classical example about how our body adapts to one type of physical activity. Wife's teachers change exercises and music every 2 months. When I was young and wanted to be Arnold Schwarzenegger I read his notes and other material and they advices to switch tactics every 4-6 weeks.

It's that, and also because after a while your body adapts to your new eating habits, causing your weight to stagnate. The dietitian calculated my minimum weight today, based on measurement with a special kind of scale. I'm nearly at that minimum, so I won't be able to lose much more and it's going to go slow. I was actually thinking about some sort of aerobics class, but I'm not sure I'll have the time.

And yes, I did lose a lot of weight very fast. 10 kg in 4 months. Next appointment is end of September, so hopefully I'll have reached my target by then Only 2 more kg to go! My bodyfat percentage is still at 28% though (which is within normal range for a woman), but I would like to get it down to 25%.
