New release
Version 2.10.1 just got released.
This will fix the touchscreen issues for the Mini, Aura and other devices. The auto rotation for the Libra and maybe others should also work now. Let me know if the touchscreen or auto rotation for other devices is broken now. https://github.com/Rain92/UltimateMangaReader/releases |

Hi OfficerAction,
I tried out the new release (2.10.1) on my Kobo Clara HD and the touchscreen input seems to be messed up. I found tapping the top of the screen actually activates the buttons at the bottom in an inverted manner (see attached image) Hope this helps with debugging. ![]() |

So I started using UMR more and more with time. And I couldn't help but a notice a couple of recurrent bugs that keep getting on my way :
1/ Not really a bug, but there it is. Upon launching the app, the screen's luminosity and warmth is set to their lowest settings ignoring any prelaunch settings. Making it impossible to see anything in bed without any sources of light. And there is no way to tweak the screen's settings without first loading a manga wich makes it extra hard in any pitch black environment. 2/ Most of the time the luminosity and warmth sliders do not work without a sleep -> power up cycle. 3/ Half of the time when I put my tablet to sleep it does not wake up and I have to hard reset it. 4/ The "connection to wifi" upon waking up can sometimes takes way longer than usual (but that one might be because I'm living in a flat with a ton of wifi interferences) So in the end, before using UMR I often have to line up all the odds or reset my device (libra h2o) once or twice. footage of my average experience (showing off last chapter of Shingeki no kyojin, so yeah .... potential spoilers ahead) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uvW3hw9iuDg Last edited by Aramir; 03-12-2021 at 07:17 AM. |

I have the same issue with the frontlight, but I never made the connection that I need to put the device on sleep. I also have the Libra H2O.

EDIT : well it seems like 2.10.1 completly broke those sliders. No ammount of sleep / wake up cycle fixes it for me. Last edited by Aramir; 03-12-2021 at 06:24 PM. |

I was looking for f.e. Attack on titans and whenever I try to read it from the first chapter, the app closes itself and returns to the kobo main menu...
But it’s not with all manga’s... Reading on my Kobo Forma |

Are you by any change trying to read it from Mangadex? They're down.
