There was discussion earlier in this thread about Wi-fi Assist. Apparently Apple decided their were enough questions (or complaints) about it that they published a support article with clarifications on how it works.

Thanks. I have T-Mobiles free 250MB/mo plan and while that is normally plenty for what I need to do away from wifi, the automatic rollover would probably drain that pretty quickly.

At long last iOS 9.0.2 has fixed an issue (not sure it was actually a bug) wherein custom made wallpaper images always zoomed in when the iPhone or iPad was put into Landscape view. I just added a new wallpaper I made to my iPad Mini Retina and noticed that when I go into Settings --> Wallpaper and select the image that there is now a brand new option named Perspective Zoom. The Perspective Zoom option was defaulted to ON, but you can change it to OFF. Here is what these option settings do.

Perspective Zoom = ON: Wallpaper image does NOT change zoom level when you switch between Portrait and Landscape views.
Perspective Zoom = OFF: Wallpaper image DOES change zoom level when you switch between Portrait and Landscape views.

Hey, it only took them 2+ years to listen to us!

Actually I think they labelled the options backwards, as I expected OFF to stop the zoom and ON to allow it, but at least it now works.

Well it seems that they chose not to add the same option to the iPhone version of iOS 9.0.2. Not sure why. So iPhones still have wonky, zooming custom wallpaper.

On the iPad it seems you need at least a 2048 x 2048 px image to make it work, but even then it is a bit flaky. If you pinch and zoom the image while setting it as the wallpaper, then the option does not work. If you leave it as displayed when chosen, then it does.

I think I will upgrade my iPhone 6+ and iPad Air 1 this week-end. I wish my iPad supported split screen, I'm not sure how useful slide-out can be for me. Probably not very much, as I tend to just ignore new features unless they fulfill a previous need. I'm afraid it will be more of an annoyance, as the control center and notification center tend to be sometimes.

Please note my earlier warning about the issue with notifications in 9.0.2. If you rely on notifications for things like email, I would personally advise against upgrading. If you don't rely on them, then of course that's not a factor.

Thanks Harry! Mostly I hate notifications and I disable most of them. The only kind of notification that I rely on is the numbers on the app icon (e.g. showing how many unread mail messages I have). That still works, doesn't it?

Yes, that works fine. I like the "ping" sound I'm supposed to get from the GMail app to tell me that new email has arrived. With iOS9 the sound sometimes plays and sometimes doesn't.

I liked that too but I disabled it when I started using my iPad at work, and I don't miss it that much. It can be distracting sometimes.
