No it is not the same link. You are talking about amzn.com/ku ? That does have the search, but not the categories. I want both, the categories and the search. Go from amzn.com/ku to "browse all titles in unlimited" - that is what I want and what I posted.

Interesting trend:
The numbers - ratio of yes vs no have been quite stable for a while at about a split of 20:80. Might be pretty accurate at least for MR readers. Have to see in a few months how it trends - towards yay or nay. Yay would be nice, that means KU is just getting better - good for the ones that already plan to stay subscribed (like me). |

I have never been one to make quick decision I always carefully way the different options. I have been kicking the tires of the various subscription ebook services for some time now and here is what I have come up with as the advantages and disadvantages of each:
Scribd - It has a lot of the major book publishing houses signed up to provide books for their catalog of offerings, however the problem here is most likely due to the terms of their contracts with the book publishers is that a customer can not download the book and put it on his/her book reader, you are forced to use the reader that you are given, which does not have much capabilities. Oyster - appears to be for apple users at this point, although they are working on adding android users. Entitle - Has a lot of the big publishing houses signed up, however the problem is that for the standard $10 a month a customer only gets two books per month, that's not acceptable for a voracious book reader like me. There is a three book per month plan however that is a bit expensive. Amazon - appears to be the most flexible of the book services and will let me read on my chosen ebook reader, a paperwhite. However the service does not have many of the big book publishing houses as yet. So the decision comes down the typical, what's important to you as a reader? |

I did not know that about Oyster, however I can not support android at home. I can support: Windows 7, 81.1, Chromebook and iOS. I would need to go buy am android tablet. Will read the gigaom.com article.

Oyster has a web based reader now. You can read with any browser. Books will appear as web pages, not PDF like pages.

If Oyster support kindle fire then they can support Kindle Paper White, they will read the same format. Only trouble is that they need to let me download the book so I can side load it to the paper white. Are they willing to let me side load the books to the paper white?
