Fortunately, their steak-thievery tends to mean pill-popping can sometimes be as easy as giving them the pill, though for those they're reluctant with (eg. fish oil pills they've left in their bowl), the "Watch me pull a rabbit out of my dog" skill comes in handy.

Guacamole is best (and real easy) homemade, as you can vary the ingredients to your own taste. Failing entry of our Mexican friends, look to advice from those above their northern border. Many Americans tend to know good guacamole the same way they know good chili (con carne).

I make GREAT guac! . chili con carne is more texmex than Mexican. true chilie is meat (usually pork) and chilies and spices. I have about 7 different versions I make.

It's all food I really love, being brought up on heat (be it chili or curries from several Asian regions). I'm not a lover of super-hot, but I certainly like a bit of heat, including chili. I have a preference towards all the varieties of curries of the Subcontinent, though it's actually Thai that gets the bigger go in this house, as The Loved One tends to be our cook, and he's a fan (he prefers Mexican and its evolved varieties and neighbours over Subcontinent though).

Cheers,
Marc

Susan Wittig Albert has a recipe for habanero spiked cookies in one of her books. No chocolate, though. Just sweet and spicy. She swears they are addictive. I haven't had the guts to try the recipe.

I understand how you feel. I killed my PRS-500 last week, and I'm now waiting for a new PRS-600.
