And currently you'll get a better price buying from Chapters in Canadian dollars since the Kobo U.S. site doesn't take the full recent drop in the C$ into account. They tend to run something higher than the current exchange rate and keep it the same all the time rather than fluctuation up and down with the markets. Note that your back will likely charge you something for the conversion (probably 1-2% but it varies by bank and account). Site like the one above will give you a pretty close idea, but the bank will likely charge you exchange based on close the day it's posted to your credit card so it may not be exactly what the site calculates.

Don't know how easy it'll be to find a used one since it's a current device that hasn't been out a year yet, but I doubt you'll find one for 1/2 price (considering what most older readers still often go for). If you do it'd be a great price.
Thought they were older than that. Not in a Hurry Do you know when they can out?

I looked at Ebay for Kobo's a couple of weeks ago and I saw 2 or 3 Glo HD's used but they weren't much cheaper than the new ones. If I remember correctly one was the same price as a new one and one was a few dollars less. Given that I'd get a new one.

I bought a Kobo Glo (not an HD) from Ebay a few months ago for $60 plus shipping. Most are more than that but this one said it was in excellent shape, which it was, and the price was good so I got it. It's been just fine.

I haven't seen the Glo HD so I can't really compare them but the regular Glo is pretty nice.

Best is to wait for the paperwhite to go on sale. They just did one for $99 during the Xmas period. Next sale will probably be, if i had to guess, Valentine's?

FrozenYogurt ....In 2015 I purchased 2 of Amazon eInk Readers Both were Defective... No I done with buying Amazon current devices. Looking At Kobo and other readers like it. IF you care to suggest anything Other than Amazon fine. Thanks.
