Dropbox just approved CC for "Production". I don't know what this means exactly, but I hope it means that your accesses won't be rate limited or otherwise slowed down.

As far as I can tell, neither Box nor OneDrive require an equivalent approval. Microsoft Cloud Drive does, but given that AFAIK we don't yet have any Cloud Drive users I haven't yet asked Microsoft them for such approval.

nqk...@gmail.com is registered for both alpha and beta tests.

Google provides no way for me to know why someone does not receive test updates. The conditions for success that we know about are:

• You must have purchased CC using the email address you gave me
• You must click the link I sent you to "accept" Google's test conditions

If you click on this link: https://play.google.com/apps/testing...calibreandroid
and log in using the email address you provided me then you should see a screen similar to the one attached. If see one asking that you accept the terms and conditions then accept them. If you see one saying you are not a tester then there is a problem with the email addresses.

If it says you are a tester then you can try following the links to see what you can get from the Google Play store.

There have been unconfirmed reports that leaving then rejoining the test can unblock things.

Yet another odd case.

Apparently CC was having trouble talking to Dropbox. When you enter book details CC tries to get the cover. In your case this took a long time (in fact it didn't finish). Unfortunately I left the Download menu item enabled and you tapped it while waiting. As the book metadata hadn't yet arrived, CC crashed.

The fix is easy: don't enable the download menu until the book metadata is actually ready.

I find odd cases so often that I've been told that *I'm* the odd case.

V4.0.0k:

• Clear connection info if the folder chooser is canceled. Permits changing provider accounts, something otherwise impossible without resetting all connection information.
• Add the template tester to OPDS and Cloud book details
• Update language: Spanish, Italian
• [BUG FIX]Rebuild column metadata from the calibre base tables. It appears that the formatted information stored in the database as a convenience can be incorrect.
• [BUG FIX]Reset the connection if authentication appears not to work. This avoids someone trying (and failing) to connect over and over with no indication of why the failure is happening.
• [BUG FIX]Fix crash when opening the info dialog when not connected
• [BUG FIX]Disable download in book details until the metadata is available. Prevents a crash.

It is my hope that this is the last alpha release. Should anyone here present know of some reason why this should not be, speak now or forever hold your peace.

Unless delayed by, for example, the version of calibre supporting templates is not released, beta testing will start on Saturday.

It happened after I had done a long press on "On Device" "No", to restrict downloads to books not yet on my device.
However, I just tried the same thing on my Galaxy Note 8 and it worked just fine.
Maybe a temporary glitch.

That was the search bug I found. It was fixed in V4.0.0j. Thanks for reporting it.
