Atunah, if you like Fantasy romance as well as SF Romance, I just read the first 5 chapters of a new one that Sourcebooks is publishing in August and the sneak preview was really good. It went straight to the top of my wishlist. The book is called A Promise of Fire by Amanda Bouchet. Sourcebooks sent me an email to promote it and I was hooked right away.

Any of you remember years ago I bought a book I believe it was historical but maybe not. It had a cover of romantic normal dressed couple on it but when I opened it there was a cover of a near naked woman in a erotic pose? I was so livid it wasn't labeled as erotic. I came here and vented. Any one Remember what book that was? I can't find it. I've looked in Calibre. It may have been a Samhain title or previously published as one.

Anyone else unable to download from Harlequin's site? The book I purchased is Carina Press, so it should be DRM free and not an ADE issue.

I'm still unable to download Diabo Lake Moonstruck after nearly a week. They've been "working" on it. I get a Failed to Download message still. It's also a Carina Press title.

Yeah, I'm getting "Failed to open eBook. Service Not Available. At this time the service you are accessing is not available. Please try again later. We are sorry for the inconvenience." Sent them an email. The book is One Minute to Midnight by Nico Rosso.

Oh well, I haven't read the first book in the series yet so it's not one I NEED right away. Hopefully they will get it fixed soon.

I thought it did but I could be wrong. I'm not thinking straight at the moment. Maisy is ill and this might be her last night. The local vet wanted to put her down but I don't have the money. She's got an appointment tommorow with a new vet who will work with me if it is her time to go. He's only charging me $15 for the visit to check her out. He thinks it's an obstruction not her kidneys like the other vet.
