I don't know how long it will last but if you're interested don't delay. As usual with ABC you'll need a mobile device with the correct version of the app to download the title. If you got an account in June you can add it to your library by playing the preview then clicking on "continue."

I got another note from audiobooks.com today. I think they are doing another "come get to know us" event like in June. The offer from today is a short story - "Cat and Jemima J" by Jane Green. If that name sounds familiar it's less likely because you know the title than it was one of the freebies ABC offered in June. If you want it get it here.

If anyone is interested, there is an ebook at Amazon which possibly is the text for the audiobook. You'd have to check into it to be sure. The ebook to which I referred is entitled The Vast Unknown: America's First Ascent of Everest, by Broughton Coburn.

You know me--it's going to be cheap, of course, or I won't post it! It's $1.99 right now. And, of course, is gonna be highly rated--this ebook is rated 4.5 stars, from 73 reviews.

If that doesn't satisfy your appetite for books about Mt.
