I've read it three times (so far) so I guess I liked it. In terms of cost per page (less than a tenth of a penny) this is a fantastic bargain.

Stanislaw Lem's The Cyberiad is $1.99 at Amazon US and Kobo right now. You may want to check your library, even if you also "have all the Lem" - I was surprised that I had many of his others but not this one.

The short story The Experience Machine: A Metaphysical Horror by Jason Werbeloff is free, probably today only. I have read this myself, and like much of Werbeloff's works, it's good but also a bit disturbing. It's the kind of story that tends to stick with you for a long time afterward. Still, I highly recommend it and pretty much everything I've read of Werbeloff's. This is much more science fiction than horror, despite the full title.

Lem is intellectually humorous and very playful and (here's the key word) absurd. Highly enjoyable, too.

I've only read two of his books. I'll have to do some research to remember which ones they were.
