Perfect fall morning.... 15 degrees, sunny, with a light breeze. A lot of leaves are turning color already (the Maples won't turn for another month) so plenty of color to be seen. It's as if God is telling me to take a ride through the mountains! Stitchawl |

39F and whispy clouds this morning. Its supposed to get up to 70F today. I'm growing rather weary of this 25-30 degree temperature jumps everyday. I wish it would just get cold.

Maybe now is the time for me to mention that I make a non-traditional thanksgiving dinner with a roast chicken.

Spelling errors can be blamed entirely on my keyboard, or relative lack of caffeine, and should not be taken personally. Unless of course you want to, in which case, I can come up with even worse versions of your name. Memo to self: Do NOT accept Thanksgiving dinner invitation from astrangerher, astrangerhere, or any other variants of this name. [are you SURE I misspelled your name? ]

43F, partly cloudy, and WINDY this morning. I got up a bit late, so I'm just now heading out for my walk. I'd better wear a hat!

In honor of fall/winter weather arriving, I've indulged in a new hat: http://www.tilley.com/The-TW2-Tilley-Winter-Hat.aspx It's wool felt - and has discreet ear flaps! Very warm. |

But today is rainy and cold here, so instead of a bike ride, I'm going to take the train into Kyoto and have some sushi. The real advantage of taking the train is that I can get in an extra hour of reading time. People get upset with me when I read while riding my motorcycle. Stitchawl
