Perfect fall morning.... 15 degrees, sunny, with a light breeze. A lot of leaves are turning color already (the Maples won't turn for another month) so plenty of color to be seen. It's as if God is telling me to take a ride through the mountains!

39F and whispy clouds this morning. Its supposed to get up to 70F today. I'm growing rather weary of this 25-30 degree temperature jumps everyday. I wish it would just get cold.

We are going to have a cold front this weekend too. Only a high of 69F on Friday. I might break out my winter coat

And to think I live just down the street. You said you wanted to try some of my homemade bread and soups. The wife and I would be happy to have you! You're free range right? Grain-fed? I promise to season ,er, treat you right!

As an aside, I just went out for my lunchtime walk and its gorgeous outside. Enjoy your comfortable weather while you can!

Wow! Another Tilley wearer! I wore mine every day for 10 years in Thailand, washing it once or twice a week in the machine, and it still looks almost new! Wonderful head wear!

But today is rainy and cold here, so instead of a bike ride, I'm going to take the train into Kyoto and have some sushi. The real advantage of taking the train is that I can get in an extra hour of reading time. People get upset with me when I read while riding my motorcycle.
